High-Up Dem Caught In $2M Bribery Scheme – Attorney Refuses To Sit Silent
A prosecutor in David County is refusing to site silent after two federal agencies back out of investigations into whether or not a prominent U.S. Senator took a $2 million bribe.
Breit Bart reported:
Davis County Attorney Troy Rawlings is investigating whether it went into a Marshall Islands account in the name of Searchlight Holding Inc. to benefit, or even bribe, Harry Reid, the once-powerful majority leader of the U.S. Senate whom online poker companies had been courting to push a bill to legalize their gaming across the nation.
Reports say the check was delivered via FedEx to Los Angeles to an attorney who represents a Poker business in Ireland.
Mail Media LTD is a Full Tilt Poker business that is used as a tool to launder internet gambling funds. Reports confirm the check was deposited in Switzerland at Basler Kantonalbank where the business has an account.
This is where it gets interesting.
According to the attorney who was following the money trail, the 2 million dollars ended up in a Marshall Islands account that was then opened in the name of Searchlight Holding Inc. Suspicion arises as this was likely to bribe Harry Reid who was at the time being courted to push a bill that would legalize Mail Media LTD’s gaming systems in the United States of America.
Another great example of democratic dishonesty. Bills passed in our nation should never be motivated by money. That is not the way our Founding Fathers intended for our government to work. This is why ill deeds like these should be severely punished.
“We are looking into allegations related to Senator Reid (and others) due to…the overlap in facts and multiple witnesses with the Mark Shurtleff case (Mr. Shurtleff himself even reported what he felt may be potential crimes)…[and] the direction of the evidence we have accumulated — it demands a thorough vetting by someone with authority,” Rawlings wrote in a statement reported on by the Hill.
